Hannah's escape

After Kit got Hannah away from the big mob and got her on the ship with Nat she just got home and not even after a few minutes later people showed up. They wanted to take Kit away. The towns people wanted to lock Kit up because they already thought that she was a witch, and thought she was even more now. Kit's uncle tried telling the towns people to blame him for her mistakes.

Final Project!

4.)Choose an event from the book and write a newspaper article as if you were a journalist in that time period. Remember journalists always include who, what, when, where, why, and how!

This is the one I'm thinking of doing the newspaper article, because it  seems easier to me and not so complicated. I think writing the newspaper article to me would give more information about what has been going on in the story and its easier to me.

News!

Things that have been happening to some people are they have been crossing highways to kill them selves. This woman, who is not identified, at the scene crossed Highway 99E just south of Wood burn, Oregon and died instantly. When this happened was 8:30 pm on Saturday when she had gotten hit. The way it happened was this older guy had to press down hard on his breaks to stop before he had hit a car in front of him that had to press even more on his breaks before he would hit the woman crossing the high way. The second car didn't stop fast enough and he hit the first car and woman. The medical helicopter reported to scene and but by the time they had gotten there the woman who was running across the highway was already dead. The way I had found this out I went on to statesman journal.com. I had found more but this one had caught my eye more than the others.

Weekend!!!((:

This weekend is gonna be an amazing weekend for me. Why? Because I'm going to a dance club with my best friend. But today is a busy day, I'm getting my new phone, getting a cute new outfit, and hanging out with my best friend all day. Then we are heading to the dance club and gonna dance all night. Tomorrow I really don't know what I'm doing. Its an as you go day. Sunday, I'm sleeping in and then opening up my Easter basket. Then probably gonna go have a big dinner with my family. Yes I know I'm a little to old to have an Easter basket, but I'm a kid at heart. And I always will be even if I'm in my 40's.(:

My life Over Your's

I am the type of person who will be there for my friends. I will only help my real friends who have been there for me and I know will be there for me. If my true friends needed me to be there for them or needed my help I would. Even if it put my life in danger I would because I know they would have my back in the end. My friends that have been there for me from the start are the ones I would be there for. Would I help a stranger? It depends on what they need help with, because I wouldn't be able to trust them. They could have a weapon that could put me in danger or they could be really sick and I would get it, and it could hurt me more than them.

School Motivation

    When i first started in high school at sprague, i was scared and nervous because it was such a big school to go to for the first time. My 9th grade year i thought it was the most amazing thing and amazing place to be. By 11th grade to me the teachers didn't seem to care or want to motivate me. Somethings teachers could do is show the students is that they care, and not just throw the work in they're face. To me teachers at my old school only wanted to be there for the money.
   Ways that would have helped me were if the teachers would have done one on one teaching. Some people like me, are the type that need that teaching or I would never be able to learn or work. At my new school they show they want to help students by motivating them to reach their full potential in life.
     People I went to school with at sprague saw and notice that teachers never wanted to prove they wanted to award us for trying, they just showed for the money. My mom is the type were if her child isn't getting her education the right way she will say something or do something about it. Here at my new school I actually want to show up for class each day, and do my work. My new teachers show me more support and they push me more to getting my goal.

Mercy!

This character is the nicer person compared to Judith her sister. Mercy is more calm and doesn't give attitude and does what she is told with no questions. When her cousin Kit shows up with no notice, she welcomes her with open arms. She is also very nice and friendly to others, and she is very layed back. From what the book says, it seems she is the one who could care less about the rules her dad has set for her.

Combining

People didn't like Hannah and some thought Hannah was a witch because she lived by herself in the meadows and was a Quaker. Kit, Nat, and Prudence went and saw her anyways, and they all though she was a nice person.

White Lies

Little white lies to me can be good in some ways and can be bad some times. If its a little white lie some people take it the wrong way and think of you differently. To some other people they think its okay to lie and show they can get away with it and not care. When you lie to your friends, your parents, or anyone else, you may lose they're trust. When you want to gain some one's trust back, you have to work hard and not lie to people. But when some people lie others don't mind because they do the same thing and don't think its bad in anyway.

Meadows

To me I think its important for her to go back to the meadows because, she got to see Nate. Kit thought she would never see him again, from when they saw each other last. Nate is from when she first met him while traveling to America. Also what was important for her to go back was too see Hannah and ask her about Quakers. And to see if she could be one, and how easy it would be.

10 Weeks of school left

My goals for finishing out strong, are to study for my test and hope to do better than I did the first time. I hopefully will pass the test with flying colors and get out of here so I can move on to the BIG test. To get my GED I would need to study hard, concentrate, and focus hard on my test and nothing else. The way I want to finish out this program is work hard and concentrate on my test, packets and read more and more, and do amazingly well on my test. Hopefully when the time comes it will all be worth the hard work in the end.
